Initial Appointment (60 mins) - $200
Subsequent Appointments (30 mins) - $115
Telehealth is available if preferred, and is a great option if you find it difficult to attend in person, or live outside of the Riverland region. Please select this option when booking your appointment, or contact us to discuss your needs further.
NDIS Services
Riverland Balanced Nutrition welcomes NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed.
Before booking an appointment, it is the participant's (or their nominee's/support coordinator's) responsibility to ensure:
dietetic services are relevant to their current NDIS goals and plan; and
sufficient NDIS funding is available to cover the appointment and any associated report writing.
Dietetic services are charged at the hourly rate outlined in the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and include assessment, review appointments, report writing, and other non-face-to-face supports where applicable.
If an appointment is provided and the service is subsequently declined by the NDIS or there is insufficient funding available, the participant will be responsible for payment of the outstanding fees at the applicable NDIS rate.
** Please note: Riverland Balanced Nutrition is unable to determine whether individual supports will be funded under a participant's NDIS plan. Participants are encouraged to discuss this with their plan manager, support coordinator or the NDIA prior to booking if they are unsure.
DVA
We welcome DVA card holders. Please inform us of your DVA card status on booking your appointment.
Chronic Disease Management Plans & Team Care Arrangements
We welcome Chronic Disease Management Plans and encourage you to speak to your GP if to find out if you are eligible. Under the CDMP & TCA program, patients are eligible for up to five Allied Health visits per calendar year to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, endometriosis, heart disease. Medicare pays a rebate to the cost of dietetic appointments by $61.80.
Please note that full payment of the appointment fees are required on the day, and you will receive the rebate from Medicare following your appointment.
If your GP has completed a Chronic Disease Management Plan or Team Care Arrangement for you, please ensure that the paperwork is sent to us prior to your appointment.
Payment Terms:
We require full payment on the day of your appointment, including telehealth appointments.
Private Health rebates are available if you have extras cover. The rebate amount will depend on your provider and level of cover. If you would like to know more, please contact your health fund directly. We require full payment on the day, and you may then seek the rebate from your private health fund.
Cancellation Policy
Riverland Balanced Nutrition has a 24 hour cancellation policy, and we appreciate your understanding and consideration when cancelling your appointment. You will be charged 50% of your appointment fee if you cancel in less that 24 hours.
Full payment is required if you do not attend your appointment without giving prior notice. This will ensure fairness and equal access for everyone.

Riverland Balanced Nutrition also respects that individual circumstances may change, and we will do our best to ensure reminders are sent with appropriate notice for cancellation. Special consideration may be given in exceptional circumstances.
