  • Yes absolutely, I’m registered with all private health funds. If you have private health extras cover, please check with your health fund to see if it including Nutrition and Dietetics. We require full payment of the appointment fee on the day, and you will be provided with a receipt to submit to your private health insurer to claim back the portion you are covered for.

  • No, you don’t need a doctors referral to make an appointment. However, if you have an eligible chronic disease, your doctor may be able to refer you to Riverland Balanced Nutrition on a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP). A CDMP provides you with up to 5 Medicare subsidised appointments, meaning you only have to pay the gap. Speak to your GP if you think you may be eligible.

  • No, Riverland Balanced Nutrition is open to everyone. We offer in-person appointments in Loxton, as well as Zoom appointments for anyone who is unable to make it in person. If you wish to make a virtual appointment, please be sure to select this option when making your booking.

  • Yes, we offer Zoom appointments for anyone located outside of the Riverland, or for anyone unable to travel. This is also a great option if your circumstance suddenly changes (eg: you have a cold), and we can change your in-person appointment to a Zoom appointment.
